DCL Pet of the Week: Meet Ginger Humane Society of West Alabama

This beauty is Ginger, a 3-year-old (as of 2/13/18) spayed female Seal Point (possibly Himalayan mix) cat. Ginger is this week’s Humane Society of West Alabama’s Pet of the Week.

She has beautiful long hair and blue eyes. She came to our shelter when her owner passed away and the family couldn't keep her.

Ginger is such a beautiful cat! She is adjusting to shelter life and needs someone to show her some patience and lots of love. She is friendly and loves to be petted and brushed.

Since Ginger is visually impaired, she will do best in a home that is calm and fairly quiet. She would most likely be frightened by young, active children or other active pets.

She is negative for FIV and FeLK and current on vaccinations. She is spayed and current on her vet care.

To meet Ginger, or any of the available animals, call (205) 554-0011 or visit humanesocietyofwa.org.
