September 1 Heritage Trial Work Day at Cheaha State Park

Our association will be helping construct the new “Heritage Trail”, a .22 mile interpretive path at Cheaha State Park. The trail has been marked and now needs to be cleared using loppers, bow saws and weed eaters. Plans are to meet Park Naturalist, Mandy Pearson at 9:00 am at the park’s Country Store. Participants should bring a lunch with something to drink and are encouraged to bring any of the above mentioned tools. For more information and to register your participation, please contact Keith Hudson by Thursday, August 30. Keith may be reached by phone at 256-453-9527 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
